The Launch of one-to-one Cuddle Session in Sussex
A Profession Client Centred Cuddle Service

Helen Thatcher and Christine Harris have been working in the Holistic Health industry for over 20 years, when they came across the phenomena of Cuddle Therapy that was taking USA by storm.

Realising that many of their UK clients had feelings of loneliness, stress (being-overwhelmed with the pressures of life) and lacked physical touch they designed their own method of Cuddle Therapy called Holding for Healing.

Holding for Healing is a revolutionary, professional one-to-one cuddling session, a non-sexual, physical touch therapy that includes embracing, cuddling and hugs.  A technique created to nurture and nourish the client on all levels; physical, emotional and spiritual.

Increasingly scientific research indicates that without physical touch human beings cannot thrive and achieve their full potential.  The chemical reaction in the brain when engaged in a hug produces serotonin and oxytocin – feel good chemicals that contribute to an overall sense of well-being.

Currently, Helen and Christine are offering Holding for Healing in well-being clinics in and around Sussex, and are intending to extend into London by the end of the year.

A regular client describes her experience as “gentle, thoughtful and responsive to my needs throughout. I feel completely held in a physical, but also in a deeper, emotional way. A wonderful experience that leaves me feeling good for some time afterwards”.

Going with the Flow and Floating with Freedom
New Venue for the Weekly Friday Session -  The Float Spa

On 4th July 2014 I started running my weekly Vital Danza sessions at the Tree of Life Centre on Portland Road, Hove.  I love the studio there and have enjoyed sharing the space with all the dancers who have come along.
However, for a while I have been looking for a NEW and BIGGER space to dance in that would allow the group to grow, provide us with more room to express ourselves and is as lovely as the current venue.  I am happy to announce I have found the perfect place...

From Friday 4th March the weekly Friday evening Vital Danza Sessions will be held at the FLOAT SPA     8 Third Avenue Hove BN3 2PX    8.15-9.45pm

The atmosphere in the Spa is gorgeous, very welcoming and totally relaxing. Join me for a special opening class on the 4th March, usual time, arrive from 8pm for a 8.15pm start. There will be an opportunity to socialise afterwards in the bar of the Langfords Hotel, which is situated two doors away and offers teas and coffee.

Introducing New Price Structure and the Vital Card Scheme

The first session at the Float Spa will be £10 for everyone. From the 11th March the drop-in price for each session will be £12, or £11 you are a member of the Float Spa.

For regular Vital Dancers there is a great opportunity to save money on your weekly classes by joining the Vital Card scheme, which has been running in London for a year now with success and includes a number of benefits.  You purchase six classes for £65, saving £7, and are entitled to savings on all the monthly classes that I assist at here in Brighton and all London events hosted by Patricia and Marcelo.

The Vital Card holder also receives discounts on any of the Vital Holidays offered anywhere in the world organised by Vital Development founders Patricia Martello and Marcelo di Matteo.

Speak or email me directly to obtain more details and how to pay.

Dances of the Seven Chakras

In the journey of life we are in a constant dance with our natural life force energies. Our true natural is that of vibrational beings of light and this flow of vital power through us is our creativity spirit.

Over the next eight weeks we will dance the various Vital Development exercises that allow us to activate, open, cleanse and illuminate the seven chakras.

It will be a fun and playful exploration of awaking to more of who we truly are...Each week stands along and will leave you feeling relaxed and energised.  Supported by loving guidance this system is a very quick, easy and yet deep and powerful way getting to know yourself more through embodiment and feeling.

Men and women of all experience are very welcome, no previous experience of dance, meditation or the chakra system is necessary. Just simply curiosity and a willingness to expand our perception.

Starting Friday 22nd 8.15- 10pm at the Tree of Life Centre, Portland Road, Hove.

The second in a NEW series of videos - sharing how the exercises of Vital Development can improve your health and happiness.

An exercise to help you release tension in your body, reduce feelings of being overwhelmed and enable you to safely and gently open your heart.

It is common for us to accumulate stress, tension and painful knots in our muscles around our neck, shoulders and back - some of us seem to carry the weight of the world in this part of our body. This exercise aims to reduce built up body amour and allow the natural flow of energy to return.  Rotate your shoulders backward gentle and symmetrically, breathing deeply and moving slowly.

As you do this the chest expands and the diaphragm is activated, the quantity of oxygen improves.  You can feel simultaneously invigorated and relaxed.  Connecting to your internal world and experiencing a feeling of freedom.

Music to use for this exercise is: Calling You from Bagdad Cafe, Come What May fro Moulin Rouge and Celtic Heart by Helen Glavin
Of course,  Vital Danza is designed to be practised in a group setting. The facilitator will carefully plan a unique sequence of exercises for each class to enable the best experience for each participant.

Do join me any Friday at 8.15pm at the Tree of Life Centre.  Or Tuesdays from 8th September at 2pm at the Yoga Garden.
